Our Slovenian honey is not an industrial product, but the result of our own beekeeping, knowledge and respect for nature. Every jar comes directly from a Slovenian beekeeper, without intermediaries, without blends and without compromises on quality. If you're looking for authentic honey you can trust, you're in the right place.
You buy honey directly from the producer – without retail chains and imported blends. This means more freshness, more nutrients and a fair price-quality ratio.
Every batch of honey has a known origin, known pasture area and known production method. We know where the bees were, when the honey was extracted and how it was stored – from hive to jar.
Every harvest is sent for independent analysis to a laboratory in Berlin. We verify botanical and geographical origin, sugar content, HMF levels and the absence of pesticides and antibiotics. Results available on request.
Čebelarstvo Dolinšek was founded in 1972 by Anton Dolinšek. Today, with 330 bee colonies and migratory beekeeping across Slovenia, we continue a tradition driven by passion and respect for bees.

Crystallization is a natural process and a sign of quality honey. Acacia crystallizes the slowest, linden the fastest. Crystallized honey is equally valuable and tasty.
Each variety has unique properties: acacia honey is mild and light, linden honey is aromatic with a menthol note. Chestnut honey with linden is rich in pollen, which gives it a characteristic bitter aftertaste. Forest honey is dark and mineral-rich. Equally mineral-rich is fir honey, which is resinous with a taste of caramel and milk powder and is the most prized.
Our honey is 100% Slovenian origin. We keep bees in various locations: Acacia honey in Bizeljsko and Prekmurje, Linden honey in Ribnica, Chestnut honey in Bela krajina and Zgornja Besnica area. Forest and Fir honey in Kočevski Rog, Javorniki forests, at Krim near Ljubljana and in the hills around Ribnica.
