Frequently Asked Questions About Bee Pollen

Everything about the properties, use and storage of bee pollen.

Bee pollen are granules that bees collect from flowers and bring to the hive. It contains all essential amino acids, vitamins (B-complex, C, D, E), minerals and enzymes. 30g of bee pollen contains as much protein as 7 eggs.

We recommend 1 teaspoon per day, in the morning. Start gradually: day 1 just 2-3 granules (allergy test), then slowly increase. Add to yogurt, smoothie or honey for easier consumption.

We advise people with allergies to bee pollen or bee products NOT to consume it without consulting a doctor. Paradoxically – small doses of local pollen can in some people build resistance to local allergens, but this requires caution and medical advice.

When stored properly – in a dry, dark place at room temperature – bee pollen lasts more than 2 years. Close the container well after each use, as pollen absorbs moisture.
